GUYS! It's December 1st! Do you know what that means? It's time to start preparing for the most important day of the year! Christmas? No! New Years? No! The day after New Years? YESSSS! Because Jan 2nd, 2012 (OMG 2012) will be the 3rd Annual NO KISS Blogfest! YAY!!!!!!
What: The No Kiss Blogfest! This is when you get to write a scene or post one from your favorite books, movies, or tv shows that show the almost kiss-- the rising, crushing, excruciating, longing, tension that comes when two characters get oh-so-close to kissing that you can just feel it, want it, NEED it....and then...they don't!
So far nearly 200 bloggers have participated! And reading every single entry was a blast! I can't wait to do it again and hopefully read more!
We interupt this post for an interupted kiss...
Jacob and Bella are the epitome of the No Kiss!
Ok, here are the details!
No Kiss Blogfest Jan 2, 2012!

Add yourself to the Mr. Linky, and get ready for No Kiss Blogfest 2012! See you all on January 2nd!
Word count?
ReplyDeleteNo official word count but keep it within reason. If it goes on too long...like more than a page people may stop reading, unless it's really hot. I'll leave that open to interpretation.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be fun--and completely out of my comfort zone! :D But I'm all for trying something new!
ReplyDeleteall right, i'm in again! This is one of my fav blogfests
ReplyDeleteI'm in. Because it is always the best way to start a new year of blogging!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait for this--so fun!
ReplyDeleteI'll either post a scene from SHADE (the "Scottish lesson" scene)...or, if Aura wins 2 rounds in the Heroine Tournament, I'll write a brand-new "prequel" scene between Aura and Logan from before they were boyfriend-girlfriend. ;)
Ha, very creative approach to encourage writing and it sounds like your response is fantastic...
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for this. I'm editing a "no-kiss" scene in my WIP right now! :)
ReplyDeleteThis was so much fun last time, I'm in. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I stumbled in. I signed up. Sounds like fun.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you, Frankie. I came over from Medeia's blog. Looking forward to participating.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the first time i've seen a blogfest in time to sign up for it!! XD And this one is totally awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Frankie! I'm back again for another No Kiss, thanks for posting it on Facebook! I haven't been around much in 2011, so here's to your blogfest propelling me in to a prolific 2012!
ReplyDeleteSee you on the 2nd. ~ that rebel, Olivia
When this was first mentioned to me I thought; 'Are you kidding me?'
ReplyDeleteI write YA (mostly). I let them kiss all the time. BUT, I usually have a bucket of cold water on hand before it goes any farther. (YA, after all).
Anyway...three days ago I wrote a 'No Kiss' scene in the current WIP. I couldn't believe it. So I'm thinking, 'what the hay...I'll bite'. See you Monday. I'll mention it tomorrow and tweet later.
I need to start thinking of what scene I'm going to use! :D
ReplyDeleteHeehee yay! I'm so excited!
ReplyDeleteI just found about it and signed up. If it's not too late.
ReplyDeleteNot at all, ralfast! People can even sign up the day of! Never too late for a No Kiss!

ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this before, gonna do my posts today! :D Super excited!
ReplyDeleteThis seems like fun, and I have a resolution to write more.
ReplyDeleteBesides, the build up is always the best part. It's delicious. :)
oh the choices. off to decide now. sorry i didn't get a chance to promote this.
ReplyDeleteI HATE that scene!!! Not because of the almost kiss, just because I really hate Jacob.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read what everyone posts!
I was totally struck with inspiration in the car on the way home tonight, so the FNC will be double represented!
ReplyDeleteSince the only relationships I seem to write are weird, twisted and obsessive... this is going to take some looking... but I'm always up for a fun challenge!
ReplyDeleteHello, I'm ridiculous. Joining up totally last minute and the blog is brand new -I happened to have been starting up this week. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteSo I can't write (gosh but I wish I could, alas, I shall confine myself to enjoying the writing of others!), but I did a 'No Kiss' painting which I'll post shortly on my tumblr {{:o)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! Thank you Medeia, for sharing this blogfest on your blog. Looking forward to exploring the linky. Great to meet you! : )
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea! The non-kisses are *always* hotter than the actual kisses!!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun. I love almost kisses as much as the real thing. Hope you enjoy reading my scene. I am having fun reading others!
ReplyDeleteI accidentally linked my name to my blank blog! Do I just enter another into Mr. Linky with the right link?
ReplyDeleteJust added my entry. Better late than never? Here's hoping! :)
ReplyDelete@cindy, I emailed you--no problem.
ReplyDelete@jaybird, yay! of course!!!
Thank you Frankie! :D
