I Saw Breaking Dawn...and I Liked It!

The unthinkable has happened. I went to see Breaking Dawn over the weekend and...I liked it.

I know...I know. I don't know what is wrong with me. I have never been a fan of these movies. I have trouble sitting for two hours and watching people blink and stare.  I also find it boring when people fail to speak in full sentences and neglect consonants, using instead a lot of breathy vowel noises. Possibly this means I have ADD. I don't know.

But then I saw Breaking Dawn...and...I don't know what happened but I enjoyed myself immensely. I LAUGHED a lot, and actually believed Edward and Bella were in love for like 5 minutes. But more importantly, I was never bored. And pretty much that was all it took to put me on the side of Pro-BD.

And soooo, I wrote you a song about my experience.

This was never the way I planned,
Not my intention.
Went to the movies, ticket in hand,
Lost my discretion.
It's not what I'm used to
Just wanna see Breaking Dawn
I'm curious about part 2
To see vamps get it on.

I saw BD and I liked it,
Pregnant Bella needs chapstick.
I saw BD just to see it,
I hope that HP* don't mind it.
It seemed so wrong,

I liked it!

No, I don't remember the book,
It's blocked from my mind.
I took an experimental look,
Just human nature.
It's not what,
I meant to do,
Not what's considered good,
Now my head's so confused
And I'd go twice if I could.

The movie was so magical,

Beds broke, Edward yelled, and blood drunk by all,

Bad contacts, lame lines, wedding snuggle.

Too campy to deny it

Ain't no big deal, it's innocent.

I'm repressing that birth scene,

I hope that HP don't mind it.

Yep. And now...I'm going to crawl under a rock. And hide.

Until the DVD comes out.
