Friday Five (or more)

1. Ack, sorry I haven't blogged ALL WEEK LONG OMG!
2. I started my summer job this week.
3. And it involves me waking up EARLY!
4. I don't like waking up early.
5. So a lot of times when I sat down to blog...
6. I actually ended up...
7. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
8. BTW, did you see POTTERMORE?
9. It sounds super cool,  and how awesome are J.K.'s boots peeking out from the bottom?
10. Though I have to admit, I was having other fantasies.
11. Like that she'd announce a new series about James Potter and his adventures at Hogwarts.
12. Leading up to the moment when he dies and Harry Aveda Kedavra's in reverse Voldemort by Lily-love!
13. Am I the only one who wants to read this?
14. What about you? What character in the Harry Potter world would you want a series about?
15. Ok I need to go to work! But LOOK! 5 x 3= 15! WOOT!

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

  1. I would like a book about Sirius when he's on the lam.

  2. I'm so with you on Harry Potter prequels! I'd love to read about James', Lily's, Remus', and Sirius' adventures at Hogwarts. I wish she'd change her mind about writing more books. But maybe one of her kids will write them some day!

  3. Haha! I was fantasizing about prequels, too! James Potter & Friends at Hogwarts! Younger Dumbledore! Yes, please!

  4. I was kinda hoping for something different, too. I guess I should have just figured out that Pottermore meant More Potter...and that's it.

    But it could be cool...

(But yeah, I wanted something NEW.)

  5. I think I'm probably the only person in existence who LOVES Snape! The ending of Deathly Hallows had me shouting "I KNEW it!!"

I never believed he was all bad. So I would love a book about him. . . but it would probably be a bit depressing, he's not the happiest bloke is he?

Good luck with your new job! Sorry you are so tired. :(

  6. I could totally go for a story about the younger lives of Severus and Dumbledore ending with how Snape decided to join the light side of the force. hehe.

  7. I got up early to watch the clock tick to Zero on her countdown and then effectively flipped a shit watching her tell us about Pottermore. My life may be a little more complete now!!!!!

Oh my goodness, I'd love a book about Sirius, one about Snape, the Twins, uh the Marauders, Oh and maybe a series of novellas about the new generation, am I the only one who would like to get to read some Rose/Scorpius? I just want to read about the new generation, and some forbidden romance. OH and I cannot forget I want the encyclopedia of every last scrap of information she has concocted over her years. Every scribbled sentence, every half thought thought I want it. Is that crazy?

Even though it isn't anything new, not yet anyways she said she was going to share info she's been hoarding for years, it is still more Potter. And that is all I ever wanted from life.

Also JKR may be the most adorable person on the face of the planet.

  8. I haven't blogged much this week, either. And I would read a Harry Potter series about just about anything! :)

  9. OMG, I would LOVE a series about James and the Marauders! They sound like they had a bunch of trouble-making good times. Plus, they lived through the first war, which sounds fascinating and epic. Ok, I'm going to stop myself before I get too excited.

  10. Okay, I don't know how I NEVER thought about that, but HOLY CRAP she needs to write about James & co NOW!!!!!!

  11. I would LOVE that series too. I'd eat it up. I'd love it even more if it were solid YA rather than targeted at 9-12 year olds, too. Not that Harry Potter does not have all ages appeal, but I think it would be really interesting to see it written for the next level up.

  12. I would love a collection of short stories about a bunch of the secondary characters. Like Luna and Neville and even the minor characters that we barely see. Pretty much ANYTHING in the HP world would be good for me!

    Look! 2x8+16!

  13. um... that was supposed to be 2x8=16

There are 3 books so far. If you like fan fiction, I think it's worth giving it a try. I will :)
