Bloodlines Arc Giveaway

I'm auditioning for the role of Contest Announcer on Frankie's Blog.

  7. Oh awesome thank-you! And I loved the Kristen/Emma dialogue xD. The MTV movie awards really should just be the Twilight awards until the movie franchise is over :P.

    I'm actually finishing up the Vampire Academy series now and my favourite scene so far is -thinks- well I loved the part when Rose was freaking out in Lissa's head when Lissa and Christian were about to get it on.

    And the first fight Rose and Christian did together when the school was being attacked.

  9. Loved the dialogue. I couldn't agree with Hermoine more!

    As for my favorite scene, I really enjoyed it when they broke Victor out of prison. I was on edge the whole time!

  11. I can't even tell you how GRATEFUL I am to you for doing this giveaway. When I read about this contest I just couldn't believe my eyes. Finally, someone was generous enough to do a Bloodlines giveaway. I've been craving for this book ever since Richelle announced there'll be a VA spin-off. Reason of the craving were these two: JILL and EDDIE. They've become my two favorite characters (apart from the VA main characters) after the series ended. I don't know how to explain it, but I just felt (while reading Last Sacrifice) that these two will have a bigger role in the spin-off and that someone (hopefully) they'll find love in each other. Wishful thinking, I know, I know! But I just want these two together. *sighs*

    My favorite scene in the VA series is in Last Sacrifice, before Rose and Dimitri give in to love. It was a moment where Rose put her feelings for Dimitri into words. How much she loved him that she felt he and she were one, and that they were never meant to be apart. I loved it!

    Thank you SO MUCH for doing this giveaway. Really. I'll be forever grateful to you for giving us a chance to read this precious book. =D

  12. Awesome! Okay, so I haven't finished the series yet but my favorite scene so far is when Rose and Dimitri are practicing fighting and things get heated up for the first time. Loved that! It still gives me chills!

  14. My favourite scene is from Frostbite. The one where Dimitri and Rose are on the roof after her mother get mad at her for wearing a body hugging dress. I knew something would happen despite the arguments between them and the fact Dimitri said nothing ever would. Also the cabin scene from Shadow Kiss because something finally did :-)

  18. My favorite scene is where Rose is confined by Dimitri in Blood Promise. I always felt guilty by enjoying that he was Strigoi. It was something I always wanted to see in a novel, and it actually happened. sigh....Not the sexiest scene they have together, but so...raw.

    and I'm beginning because i LOVE the VA series. gah I must have reread all the books so many times now.
    I was going to cop out and just say my favorite is anytime Rose & Dimitri are together.... but I think instead I'll just go with the last book, when Rose & Dimitri finally get back together even when Rose is still with Adrian. There's something awfully powerful about the way they connect with each other. Such a beautiful scene.

  23. Oh, I am not sure it is my favorite ever ever, but this is one that does never get out of my mind... The scene in which Dimitri leaves his Strigoi side, when he stops being a Strigoi and his Guardian soul comes back. Wow. I LOVE that scene. It was very, very remarkable to! I also am in love with the whole Last Sacrifice book. :-)

    Favorite VA scene. I don't know if I can pick one scene. But I was definitely most moved by Last Sacrifice. The scene near the end with Adrian and Rose was heartbreaking.

    I love Adrian (even though I always wanted Rose and Dimitri together) and I am so excited that he is in Bloodlines.

    I would definitely say that Bloodlines is my most anticipated book of 2011. And that is saying a lot considering (Silence, Forever and so many others are coming out this year). I am so excited to read this book. Reading about all those who got it at BEA was thrilling (happy for them but jealous!). I don't have a blog and I've never been to BEA so I don't have any arcs. But I would be so so happy to have one!

  32. I loved the scene when Rose and Dimitri are fighting in Frost Bite, and Rose manages to unnerve Dimitri by telling him something that only he knows about himself: That he's scared of not being in control. And then that kiss that happens right after. *Dies*

    So, for my favorite scene, I'm just going to quote the first book. It's still one of my faves, lol

    "The spell. Victor said you had to want me... to care about me... for it to work." When he didn't say anything, I tried to grip his shirt, but my fingers were too weak. "Did you? Did you want me?"
    His words came out thickly. "Yes, Roza. I did want you. I still do. I wish... we could be together."
    "Then why did you lie to me?"
    We reached the clinic, and he managed to open the door while still holding me. As soon as he stepped inside, he began yelling for help.
    "Why did you lie?" I murmured again.
    Still holding me in his arms, he looked down at me. I could hear voices and footsteps getting closer.
    "Because we can't be together."
    "Because of the age thing, right?" I asked. "Because you're my mentor?"
    His fingertip gently wiped away a tear that had escaped down my cheek. "That's part of it," he said. "But also... well, you and I will both be Lissa's gaurdians someday. I need to protect her at all cost. If a pack of Strogoi come, I need to throw my body between them and her."
    I know that. Of course that's what you have to do." The black sparkles were dancing in front of my eyes again. I was fading out.
    "No. If I let myself love you, I won't throw myself in front of her. I'll throw myself in front of you."

  36. AHHHHH! This is really, really exciting!

    Favorite scene of mine...hmmm. In Frostbite when Adrian sent Rose all those perfumes. Despite his sort of arrogant attitude, it was very sweet and in my opinion showed he really cared. :)

    You're really lucky and awesome to of gotten an ARC! Hope you enjoyed it, and whoever wins enjoys it as well! :) Thanks for having the contest!!!

    Really, any scene where Rose and Dimitri were being honest and open with one another. But especially those in the third book. The whole third book basically, is just fantastic.

    There are so many scenes that I love in the Vampire Academy series.
    Rose and Dimka cabin scene for one. Another is when Rose and Christian tag teamed fighting and they looked at each other like "yeah, were bad ass". I could go on forevah. I just adore the books and hope that I can read Bloodline even sooner ~crosses fingers~

  53. Okay, so, I'm not trying to be greedy or anything since the fates aligned and I won your last contest, but I just had to leave a comment because I love Adrian and your Bella and Hermione banter cracked me up. :)

    My fave VA scene is actually when Dimitri is a Strigoi and he keeps Rose. Because he is sooo bad and I kept hoping to see a spark of good there. And I imagine that I did.

  54. Ooo that's hard. I really love all the Christian/Lissa moments. I just love them together! :) And I thought Abe was awesome and funny, so I liked whenever he was around. My favorite part, though, would have to be in Blood Promise with Dimitri & Rose. What he did was wrong, but I couldn't hold it against him, since he wasn't himself. And I thought it was interesting seeing how he acted as a Strigoi. I thought it was extremely suspenseful; I had no idea what would happen next & I guess I liked being on the edge of my seat.

  56. Wow! Talk about a difficult task. There are six awesome books to choose from, which I love to re-read until Bloodlines comes out. Let me see... If I had to choose just one I would say my favorite scene happens at the end of book four. When Rose receives the letter from Dimitri. Why, because now Rose can stop feeling guilty for killing Dimitri and it gives her hope for a future with him, since she thinks she has a way to return him to who he was. I loved this scene. I also have to say Thanks for the giveaway.

    I think my favourite scene throughout the VA series would be in Last Sacrifice where Dimitri finally confesses to Rose that he's still in love with her, even though he's willing to let her go and be happy with Adrian. That for me was a big turning point. Other than that, I LOVE the cabin scene in Shadow Kiss . . . I think most would people loved that scene! *Sighs*
