What do you MEAN the laptop can't recognize you? I recognize you! You're the same little battery that I have seen and charged since I got the laptop.
Oh you're getting old? I see. You're what! 3! How is that old? That's not old! That's juvenile.
No you can''t compare yourself to dog years.
Because a laptop is NOT a dog!
No, it's different!
For one thing...you can't fetch.
GOOGLE is not the same as playing fetch!
You're tired? Well how about this! I'm tired.
Oh so you wrote 1,000 drafts of my novel?
Ummmmm, the last time I checked I WROTE A THOUSAND DRAFTS OF MY NOVEL while you just laid there.
Yeah, I said it! You lay there. Not even being useful since I have the laptop plugged in.
Of course I relied more on the plug than you. You used to only give me 4 hours. Now I'm even lucky for 1!
Oh, so now I'm lucky to get 1 second!
That's it!
Battery! Me and you....it's OVER!
Hey Frankie! What do you write about? I feel theres a story burning to be told within me but I can't even get beyond what GENRE it might be in! Anyway, I love a woman who loves animal rights. Come say hi at www.righteousyogini.com
ReplyDeleteHaha this is awesome. Your blog post, I mean, not the end of you and your battery. D: that is quite devastating, actually.
ReplyDeleteOh well, sometimes you just have to confront it and see if it's worth sticking with it. :( I had to break up with my laptop battery a couple months ago actually...he wasn't behaving either!

Best. Breakup. Ever.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Naughty, naughty battery! :-)
ReplyDeletehahaha...my battery and I are at odds too. LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt just goes to show you...sometimes the seemingly best ones turn out to be duds! xD
ReplyDeleteFunny post. Yeah, doncha hate it when your battery flops out just when you're in the middle of writing a good chapter?! Try a Mac AIR. Not only are they light and slim, they have an amazingly long battery time. Good for plane trips and the like. No more sore back either.
ReplyDeleteJust last week I was having the same problem. It showed me plugged in but the battery refused to charge. Then one day this week I noticed my battery was fully charged. Hmmm. Are the computers striking out?
ReplyDeleteCome to my house and give that exact same lecture to my battery, please. I'm too soft hearted, and somebody seriously has to say it. I'll never live it down if the battery beats me to the punch, and breaks up with me first.
