STOLEN Art!!!!

So last week I got a little surprise package in the mail that erupted into a TOTAL Squeeeeeeee-Fest when I opened it. One of my beta-readers, the awesomely and uberly talented Tara Sasiadek decided to actually create a STOLEN book for me, by decorating a box, shaped like a book. SO cool! She created a STOLEN cover and even drew one of the scenes featuring my characters Ryan and Lilliana *dies*.

Also, she made me some jewelry inspired by something my MC Lilliana wears in the story. So I HAD to show you pictures. These are my first official pieces of fan art! Squeeee!

Ok it totally made me cry!

This is like reason 1,596 that beta readers are AWESOME!

  1. Wow. That is beautiful. How exciting. What has made me sqeeeee...ummm. Great writing sessions last week. I'm paying for it this week because the brain does not want to work.
I guess I should give it a break now and again.

  9. Love it. So beautiful. How cool to see your story "come to life" in a way. I like the back cover a lot and could totally picture that scene in my head (as you know, it's one of my faves) ;)

Let's see...what has been squeeeee worthy in my life...starting my new project. However, I've stopped squeeeeing because I'm not stuck. Ugh.

  12. That's beautiful ^_^ I hope the actual cover is just as lovely.

The latest thing to make me squee was a graduation gift that I had gotten in the mail. It was The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud in the first edition which I had wanted ever since my cousin never gave me back the book I lent her. The book had been reprinted in a new cover that I hated and a friend of mine had found the edition I wanted in a used book store and bought it for me ^_^.

  13. A Tribute to Theatre
The Murugan Theatre. It is one of the theatres in Thiruthangal, a small town near the famous industrial town of Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu. The small town had three theatres in those days (1980s). Chinnaknai Theatre was in the northern corner of the town and Balaji Talkies was at the other end, in the southern corner
