In My Mailbox is the awesome meme that explores the exciting books we recieved this week and is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren and was inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie.
This was an EPIC week. My jacket came, and I had major couponage, plus an SCBWI conference. Get ready!
1. Princess Ben, Catherine Gilbert Murdock (signed) bought at the SCBWI Fall Philly. She was really sweet, wore a lot of funky jewelry and talked a lot about the connection between screenwriting and novel outlines. Very cool stuff. And it turns out that she is a huge fantasy fan though this is her only fantasy on the market.
2. Dairy Queen, Cathering Gilbert Murdock (signed) also bought at the SCBWI Fall Philly. One more fun fact about her Catherine, her older sister is Elizabeth Gilbert-the author of Eat, Pray, Love-that book you know that is being made into a movie with Julia Roberts. Now that I've met Catherine, if Elizabeth looks similar to her, then I think Julia was a good cast call.
3. Fire, Kristin Cashore
4. Immortal: Love Stories with Bite, ed. P.C. Cast Want to win a copy of the Borders Exclusive Edition of this book along with two House of Night books? Enter my contest HERE!
5. Looking For Alaska, John Green I've got big plans to do an all John Green weekend and read all 3 of his books for the first time back to back. Now my plan can go into action. I just need to find the right weekend.
6. Vampire Academy Boxed Set (Books 1-3), Richelle Mead I had a coupon...I couldn't resist....new covers are shiny...
Ok and....what LiLa has been waiting for my Vampire Diaries Jacket!!!
These aren't the best pictures because I had to take them myself, but I will come back with better, I promise.
All in all this jacket is awesome (and totally VEGAN!) YAY!
And hey you know, while I have you here, let me show you this!

Looking For Alaska and Vampire Academy are two of my favourite books. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
